Your Role

Do you like to investigate how well something works? Do you have an amazing attention to detail? We are looking for a highly-skilled Test Automation Engineer to support our Mobile Banking App solution and:

  • Design and develop test automation scripts based on our test automation framework
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure E2E automation and develop sustainable solutions
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize testing, integration, and delivery efficiency
Your Team

You'll be working within UBS Qatar LLC in Doha, Qatar. We plan and lead IT projects in our digital factory by having chosen a new agile mode of working with a mindset around time-boxed delivery of solutions, empowerment of interdisciplinary teams and close collaboration throughout the whole software development process. It is the location for co-located software development which spans across multiple areas focusing on faster time to market and agile methodology, but always with a client centric delivery approach. This is the place, where we create our award-winning solutions like e-mobile banking which are directly client facing. It's a very demanding, fast-paced and exciting environment, this is the place where we live innovating working models.

Your Expertise
  • Overall 7+ years of professional experience, 5+ years in test automation, mobile testing (iOS and/or Android)
  • Experience with Java, Cucumber, Maven, Jenkins, Selenium and/or Appium
  • Familiar with main testing techniques, methodologies, processes (incl. Mobile Testing)
  • Experience in initiating automation process from scratch
  • Experience in test-driven development, continuous Integration and Deployment
  • Experience working with cross-functional scrum teams
  • Ability to accomplish complex engineering tasks independently
  • Analytical skills to cope with complex challenges in software engineering
  • Experience in implementing best practices and improving current processes
  • Positive attitude and a great interest in shaping the future of technology in banking
  • Strong written and verbal communication, comfortable interacting with colleagues in English
