Position Overview:

Malomatia is committed to retaining local talents, graduating from an academic Institution / university in the State of Qatar, and providing opportunities for young graduates to shape their professional lives. This objective is achieved through strategic programs such as the Graduate Engineering Trainee (GET) program. The program is designed to provide hands-on training and exposure to various IT / business capabilities within the organization. The Graduate Engineering Trainee will undergo a structured training program aimed at developing your technical skills, industry knowledge, and professional competencies.

Working under the guidance of experienced IT / Business Leaders and mentors, you will be tasked with training and work for the duration of 12 months.

Program Structure:

  • 6 MONTHS OF TRAINING PERIOD
  • 6 MONTHS OF PROJECT DEPLOYMENT

Tasks during 6 Months of Training Period:

As a graduate engineering trainee, you will be assigned tasks including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Learning and Development: You will participate in training sessions, workshops, and online courses to acquire foundational knowledge and skills in areas such as Security, Data / AI, Cloud, Product Management, Automation, and Software Development.
  • Project / Program Management: You will support the project / program management teams in the execution and delivery of projects / programs and contribute to project tasks under the supervision of senior team members.
  • Solution Finding Through Innovative Approaches: Collaborate with team members to find solutions to business / technological challenges and apply analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Technology Discovery: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices through mentorship, job rotation, self-study, research, and participation in technical forums or communities.
  • Synergy and Interaction: Work closely with technology experts, consultants, and cross-functional teams, communicating progress, updates, and challenges transparently.
  • Adherence to Processes: Adhere to established processes, governance, standards, and quality guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Continuous Refinement / Improvement: Seek feedback from mentors and supervisors, engage in self-assessment, and pursue skill development initiatives.
  • Professional Conduct: Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude in all interactions, adhering to company policies and ethical standards.
  • Performance Evaluation: Participate in regular performance evaluations and feedback sessions to assess progress and set goals for career advancement.

Overall, as a Graduate Engineering Trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience, build a strong foundation in one of the 6 offered IT capabilities, and develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a dynamic and fast-paced IT environment. This role serves as a stepping stone for future career growth and advancement within the organization, leading to possible full-time employment.
