Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, commerce.
  • Experience: At least 10 years' experience in offshore oil & gas projects with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Project Team Experience: At least 6 years at a senior level within a large multinational taskforce team environment.
  • Offshore Projects: Experience in offshore-related projects.
  • Availability: Available for technical missions worldwide.
  • Familiarity: Familiar with COMPANY / Total General Specifications, MOQ standards, and relevant codes and standards.
  • Language: Fluent in English.
  • Skills: Computer literate, strong leadership skills, good communication skills, and the ability to influence others without hierarchical links.
  • Working Environment: Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Good analytical skills.
  • Certifications: H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings for offshore missions.
Responsibilities
  • Join the Package team in selecting necessary external agencies for expediters supporting the follow-up of packages and bulk materials from technical, schedule, quality, and logistics perspectives (as and when required).
  • Formulate recommendations for selecting the best vendors for each Package team. A Cost-plus approach has been retained on certain EPC packages as a strategy to avoid abnormal markups by Contractors, giving COMPANY flexibility to choose the best vendor (based on surveys/reports/pre-assessment).
  • Evaluate the impact on budget and delivery of common equipment and packages across all Project Packages; formulate recommendations for the benefit of COMPANY.
  • Enable EPC Contractors to benefit from early RFQ by COMPANY and handover the relevant information to selected EPC Contractors.
  • Contribute to the expansion of the COMPANY AML through close coordination with C&P and E&C departments in accordance with applicable COMPANY standards.
  • Partner with Package Procurement Engineers, Engineering, QAQC, and other relevant disciplines on the pre-qualification of new vendors, defining evaluation and selection criteria, and participate in vendors' audits if necessary.
  • Assist with the definition and assessment of Long-Term Frame Agreements (Contractual and Technical) with critical package vendors such as Solar, Siemens, and others.
