About The Job
Job description / Job purpose:
  1. Development of detailed Engineering deliverables of offshore structures, both Brownfield and Greenfield
  2. Provide technical and project execution services
  3. Produce structural deliverables in PDMS / Draft and E3D
Reporting lines and interactions
  1. Functionally reports to: HOD structural
Role And Accountabilities
  1. Performing structural analyses and design
  2. Experience in both brownfield and greenfield engineering
  3. Design of fixed offshore platforms
  4. Jacket
  5. Topside
  6. In-place fatigue analysis (both deterministic and spectral)
  7. Re-assessment of existing platforms
  8. Installation sequences for brownfield modifications such as extensions, equipment removal, addition
  9. Design for transportation, lift, on-bottom stability
  10. Design of boat landing
  11. Design of protector structures
  12. Design of different types of connections, pad-eyes, clamps etc.
  13. Miscellaneous brownfield design works
  14. Removal, replacement, installation sequences
  15. Checking of engineering reports and drawings
  16. Preparation of design basis
  17. Experience in offshore site surveys and report preparation
Profile:
Must have
  1. Bachelor's degree in civil/ Structural Engineering
  2. Minimum five – ten years' engineering design consultancy experience of offshore platforms – both brownfield and greenfield.
  3. Expertise in SACS
  4. Familiarity with International codes and standards – API RP 2A, AISC, DNV
  5. Excellent communication skills (both writing and speaking)
Nice to have:
  1. Post Graduation in Offshore Engineering / Ocean Engineering (Preferable)
  2. Experience in Navis Works, GRLWEAP, STAAD Pro., ANSYS, ABAQUS, MOSES, USFOS
  3. Experience in the design of floating offshore structures
  4. Exposure to Structural Fabrication, Yard Engineering, etc.
  5. Experience in EPIC projects
