The position

The Company is currently under a strong growth program and looking to enhance and enlarge its team of Power Systems Engineers to undertake advanced network simulation studies, conduct techno-economic assessment of modern power systems, and define control strategies to address the amazing challenges associated to the massive integration of renewable resources and the electrification of demand. We are on the lookout for highly proficient Power Systems Engineers with strong education credentials, superior innovation skills and proven relevant experience in applied research and/or in the energy industry.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power Systems Engineering. MSc would be a plus. PhD would be a stronger plus.
  • Advanced level and experience in power systems simulation tools EMT/RMS (e.g., PSCAD, PSS-E and Simulink) is a must.
  • Experience in transmission/distribution network planning and forecast is a strong plus.
  • Experience in the control and protection of inverter-based systems is a strong plus.
  • Functional programming skills (e.g., Python and MATLAB) for optimization and automation of power simulations and network planning frameworks.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Impeccable written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Both junior (3-5 years of relevant work experience) and senior (more than 5 years experience) will be considered in the selection process.
