Our client is a well-known manufacturing business based in the GCC. With operations across a number of countries, they are looking to hire an experienced manufacturing finance professional to oversee the finance function. This role would be the most senior in the finance function and report directly to the Qatar-based GM.

Key responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Financial accounting & Treasury/Cash Management
  2. Working Capital Management
  3. Cash flow & cost management
  4. Due Diligence
  5. Fund Raising
  6. Preparation of various MIS reports & submissions of the same to the management
  7. Supervision of the day-to-day accounts of the company
  8. Handling the audit of the financials and assisting the auditors in completion of the audit by fulfilling the various audit requirements
  9. Strategic planning for optimum deployment of funds
  10. Debtors Control
  11. Supervision of the staff in the regular day-to-day accounting functions

Legal Issues:

  1. Preparation of agreements & scrutiny of sub-contractor agreements
  2. Liaising with lawyers for various cases
  3. Preparation of legal letters & notices

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Experience in a lead finance role, having led a finance function
  2. Hold an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
  3. Manufacturing sector experience
  4. Must already currently work or reside in the GCC
