Purpose of the role (What the role does; how the role contributes to the team/dept/division goals)

Product Manager will primarily be focusing on identifying opportunities around Data solution in Qatar and building the practice by working closely with customers, vendors, and solutions manager.

Key Accountabilities (Key activities, tasks and outcomes to be achieved)

  1. Achieve the assigned sales target for the internal Data practice and vendor targets.
  2. Work with other sales account managers to achieve Data regional target.
  3. Have a clear and comprehensive understanding of IT software products, business models, customer marketplace, and organizational structure.
  4. Set sales priorities and key selling strategies to achieve sales objectives. Leverage relationships to open doors to new strategic business opportunities.
  5. Directly manage a growing team of senior individual contributors responsible for the acquisition of new customers as well as managing relationships with existing clients across the region.
  6. Prepare and present accurate and timely sales forecasts to senior management.
  7. Consistently monitor the sales activity and track results.
  8. Accurately forecast recurring revenue pipelines along with incremental bookings.
  9. Constantly innovate ways to balance sales opportunities, client management, and new customer onboarding responsibilities.
  10. Devise tactics and strategies to maintain close relationships at scale.
  11. Focus on client success in order to build a talent pipeline and create a pool of customers that will serve as references for sales and marketing purposes.
  12. Work to develop and circulate the set of best practices that will serve as the foundation for this growing team.
  13. Listen to the needs of the market and share insights with the product and marketing teams.
  14. Be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge and do everything you can to help the company achieve its larger objectives.
  15. Have strong experience in dealing and managing vendors.
  16. Work with the sales account managers locally and regionally to advance all Data opportunities in the region.

Requirements

Key job requirements

  1. 3+ years of relevant experience selling software solutions.
  2. Extensive lists of clients & prospects from our space.
  3. Successful track record growing and managing a client portfolio with data reporting technology.
  4. Proven hunter, able to generate new sales leads and close existing ones.
  5. Experience in selling any data solution is a plus.
  6. Fluent in English and clear Arabic language.
