Senior Project Manager [10+ years Experience]

  • The Senior Project Manager position is responsible for making senior decisions with high levels of accountability within their area of expertise. The Senior Project Manager will produce documentation and recommendations for senior IT executives.
  • Plan, monitor and manage Applications & Infrastructure Projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of project. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and scope targets are met.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism in communication, coordination, providing work leadership, training, and other high-level interactions.
  • Ability to work in a highly visible role, dealing extensively with the management team and decision-makers in external organizations.
  • Ability to communicate technical and business problems in a non-technical manner.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver tasks on-time and adhere to deadlines.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to present to senior managers.
  • Proven ability to apply clear critical thinking in complex, stressful situations.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years' experience in project management.
  • Experience with process improvement.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills and experience using tools such as Microsoft Project.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP/PRINCE II certification is a plus).
