Deliver lectures, conduct seminars, and develop course materials on Artificial Intelligence (AI) topics, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, robotics, etc.

  • Engage students with interactive teaching methods, including hands-on labs, group discussions, and real-world case studies.
  • Design, assess, and grade assignments, exams, and projects to evaluate student performance.

Develop and update AI course content to keep up with advancements in the field.

  • Create and review syllabi, learning objectives, and academic materials for AI programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure courses align with department goals and academic standards.

Research and Innovation

Conduct high-impact research in the field of Artificial Intelligence, publishing findings in reputed academic journals and conferences.

  • Develop and lead research projects related to AI techniques, applications, or emerging technologies.
  • Seek external funding through grants and collaborate with industry partners to foster research and innovation.

Student Mentorship and Guidance

Provide academic and career advice to students, particularly in research and AI project development.

  • Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations at the undergraduate, graduate, and PhD levels.
  • Mentor students and support their growth in the field of AI by guiding them on research opportunities, internships, and career paths.

Develop partnerships with industry leaders to integrate AI technologies in real-world applications.

  • Engage in collaborative projects with businesses, research institutions, or government bodies to promote AI research and development.
  • Facilitate internships, workshops, and guest lectures with industry experts to enrich the educational experience.

Department and Academic Contribution

Contribute to the overall academic development of the AI department and the university through active participation in meetings, committees, and events.

  • Attend conferences, workshops, and seminars to stay updated on the latest AI trends and share expertise with peers.
  • Contribute to university outreach, public engagement, and academic collaborations in AI.

Apply for research grants and funding opportunities in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

  • Manage research budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for AI projects and initiatives.
  • Establish collaborations with external agencies, industry partners, and other academic institutions to secure funding.

Desired Candidate Profile

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field, with outstanding academic credentials. The position expects strong interest and commitment to teaching, mentoring, and supporting students at the undergraduate level. They involve teaching fundamental and advanced courses in AI, including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, or Computer Vision. Besides being excellent educators, candidates are expected to actively engage in activities such as research, outreach, advising, and curriculum development.
