Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement integrated sales and marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the department.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.

Sales Management:

  • Oversee all sales activities across distribution channels (direct, brokers, digital, bancassurance, etc.).
  • Set clear performance targets and KPIs for the sales team.
  • Drive new business development and customer acquisition initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Marketing Oversight:

  • Develop and manage brand positioning, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
  • Oversee digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, and social media.
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop and launch new insurance products.

Team Leadership:

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales and marketing team.
  • Conduct regular training and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and innovation.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Analyze sales performance data and marketing metrics to inform decisions.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and the board.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 5 in a leadership role in the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, distribution channels, and regulatory environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading successful marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools.
