We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with a robust background in the retail industry to join our team in Qatar for an onsite project. This is a one-year contract position designed to support our retail operations and enhance our business processes through insightful analysis and strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
    Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements.
    Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement.
  2. Retail Process Optimization:
    Evaluate and enhance current retail processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
    Recommend and implement solutions to streamline operations and improve customer satisfaction.
  3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    Perform detailed data analysis to derive actionable insights.
    Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to management.
  4. Stakeholder Management:
    Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
    Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and adjust project plans as necessary.
  5. Project Management:
    Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management.
    Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
    Ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables.
  6. System Implementation and Support:
    Support the implementation of new retail systems and technologies.
    Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems.
  7. Market and Competitor Analysis:
    Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences.
    Provide strategic recommendations based on market insights to drive business growth.

Qualifications

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the retail industry.
  3. Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau).
    Experience with retail management systems (e.g., ERP, POS).
    Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  4. Soft Skills:
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Additional Requirements

  1. Location: Must be willing to relocate to Qatar for the duration of the contract.
  2. Languages: Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
