Job Title: Enterprise Systems Administrator Lead

Location: Doha, Qatar

Job Responsibilities

Trace Systems is actively recruiting for an Enterprise Systems Administrator Lead to support the AFCENT Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) contract at Doha, Qatar.

The Job Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
  1. Design, write, modify and implement software programs/applications;
  2. Develop glue-ware to support operational client applications and security patches;
  3. Provide Tier 2 technical support;
  4. Install, configure, operate, manage, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, inspect and maintain server systems (physical and virtual), including administration of core and functional services;
  5. Manage and administer user accounts, profiles and access;
  6. Monitor user access and adherence to established policies and procedures to ensure a secure operating environment;
  7. Monitor workstation and server logs for errors and failures and perform appropriate troubleshooting and maintenance;
  8. Provide technical assistance for assigned projects;
  9. Provide desktop, server and software application integration support;
  10. Operate and maintain monitoring and analysis tools; detect, analyze and resolve platform, infrastructure and system problems;
  11. Monitor and control system performance, utilization and capacity to ensure optimal performance, availability, serviceability and recoverability; report any vulnerabilities or deficiencies to government technical representatives;
  12. Evaluate current architecture, research current technologies/solutions; provide systems hardware/software upgrade and replacement recommendations for end-of-life/end-of-support COTS products to government technical representatives;
  13. Assist with the tracking and management of COTS licenses, warranties, service level agreements renewals for systems equipment and software;
  14. Coordinate with system program offices (or commercial vendors) and implement approved hardware/software changes, upgrades and enhancements, as directed by the Government;
  15. Update and maintain as-built systems/server configuration and connectivity drawings, diagrams and documentation, and publish semi-annually;
  16. Support cloud services;
  17. Global travel up to 10%;
  18. Other Duties as Required.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance eligibility.
  2. Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
  3. DoDM 8140 IAT Level 2 (Security+) or higher;
  4. Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA) or equivalent certification;
  5. VMware Certified Associate (VCA) or equivalent certification.
General Experience
  1. 3 years experience leading a team of 5 or more personnel.
  2. Ability to set team goals, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure successful execution of projects.
  3. Demonstrated ability to make decisions under pressure, particularly during incidents or system outages.
  4. Ability to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  5. Experience with installation, configuration and maintenance of server operating systems (Windows Server/Linux).
  6. Managing Active Directory, including user/group administration GPOs, and domain services.
  7. Experience with virtualization platforms and enterprise storage.
  8. Understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing and switching.
  9. Experience with cloud architecture.
Education
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or 5+ years of IT Domain Knowledge experience.
