We are currently looking for a Senior Oracle ERP Human Resource Functional Consultant to join an exciting project with a leading provider of Managed Services, Cybersecurity, and ICT Solutions in QATAR. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role and will be responsible for managing and overseeing all Oracle HCM applications. As the Functional HR Consultant Lead, you will play a key role in handling all HR-related enhancements, changes, support activities, and issue resolution across the Oracle HCM landscape.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Functional Lead on the modules including Core HR 12.2.8, SSHR, Performance Management, iRecruitment, Payroll, Succession Planning, Oracle Time and Labour and other custom modules.
  • Active member in rollout, enhancements and upgrade projects. Responsible for complete Hire to Retire/Fire cycle managed by Oracle.
  • Responsible for all HR module areas, overseeing Core Business User support and managing the Functional track of Outsourced Support Team.
  • Responsible for gathering customer requirements and mapping them onto the Oracle applications in the most efficient way maintaining best market practices and guaranteeing corporate standards.
  • Responsible for validating and if required doing all Business Interfacing discussions, Scoping, Planning, Functional analysis, Requirement & Gap analysis, Mapping, Solution Designing, and Functional Testing.
  • Provide support to HR Team including Work Force Planning, Payroll, Employee Relations, Timekeeper and in their day to day and especially audit, month-end and year-end activities.
  • Gather requirements from key users and guide them on Oracle best practice providing solutions and highlighting drawbacks of the different options and scenarios possible.
  • Identify areas of improvement and proactively review with possible ERP enhancements as part of a process and quality program.
  • Responsible for maintaining updated information about the RUP and upgrade information of HR Modules.
  • Liaison with Oracle for upgrades, patches and SR & exposure and use of all Oracle standard documentation methods as well as Oracle implementation methodologies.
  • Occasionally organize training sessions for the HR users to address common issues or to explain HR that will be introduced to use or new application extensions that have been developed.
  • Defines the requirements for any HR-related extensions that need to be developed by the Oracle Applications Developer. The Senior Human Resources Functional Consultant is accountable for maintaining information for projects/3rd party applications and maintaining their Support.
  • Diagnose Oracle HR problems and guides the Core Business users to a solution Open Oracle HR related SRs if required and liaises with Oracle until they are solved Managerial Responsibilities.
  • Manage all the issues as per the agreed SLA or Secondment Contract. Report the performance of the Outsourcing Team and update.
  • Arrange all the facilities to the team who are working on the project, provide training, support and extract the best out of the team Self-Management.
  • Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all competencies and skills required to perform the role.

Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow and SOA Suite/Fusion

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualification: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Overall experience of min. 8 years with Oracle HRMS Functional Consultant experience.
  • Experience in translating Functional specifications into technical requirements
  • Knowledge of Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow and SOA Suite/Fusion
