Senior Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the organization's systems and network to prevent unauthorized access and avoid data breaches. This position involves strategic planning, project management, team leadership, and ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of the network and security infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  1. Design, install, configure, and support network and security equipment, including Firewalls, Switches, Wireless Access Controllers, and IP Telephony from a wide range of leading vendors.
  2. Create and oversee security measures such as access authentication and privilege matrix.
  3. Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
  4. Maximize network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
  5. Implement proactive monitoring and maintenance practices to prevent downtime and minimize disruptions to business operations.
  6. Conduct regular assessments and audits of network infrastructure components, identifying and addressing any issues or vulnerabilities.
  7. Document network setup, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  8. Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls to protect the organization's infrastructure assets and data.

Project Management and Implementation

  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess project requirements, mitigate risks, and resolve technical challenges.
  4. Assist in preparing status reports and deliveries/presentations on network design and analysis progress to colleagues, subordinates, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  1. Experience in industry-leading products such as Cisco, Palo Alto, FortiGate, Meraki, Aruba, Avaya, Alcatel-Lucent, etc.
  2. Professional certification (e.g., CCNP, CCDP).
  3. Solid background in network and network security administration and architecture.
  4. In-depth understanding of communication protocols and routing protocols.
  5. Familiarity with access control models and network security.
  6. Experience in IP telephony products like Cisco, Avaya, Alcatel.
  7. Experience in web proxy products like Netskope and Zscaler.
  8. Experience in vulnerability assessment tools like Qualys.
  9. Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Zabbix network tools).
  10. Sharp troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
Added Value
  1. Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Hypervisor and VMware infrastructure.
  2. Knowledge and experience in industry standard compliance frameworks such as ISO27001.
  3. Knowledge and experience in Next Generation Antivirus.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
