Our client, a global consultancy, is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Cost Manager for a major infrastructure & construction project based in the Gulf region.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Reviewing all contract documentation related to terms of payments in order to ensure timely certification of payments;
- Following up closely on all expenses related to projects to prevent any impact on project's cash flows;
- Liaising with quantity surveyors;
- Controlling and analysing costs in relation to quantities, contractor's BoQ's and issuing monthly cost reports;
- Addressing cost analysis, early warning, and recommendation of recovery actions and measures.
You will have:
- Degree qualification in a related discipline;
- Membership of a recognised International Professional Body e.g. MRICS;
- 10+ years post graduate experience of all commercial aspects of major infrastructure projects including highways, roads, bridges, tunnelling and utilities;
- Working knowledge of Cost Estimating Software, Timberline, CSS;
- Fluent in English written and spoken.
