Our client is looking for a Senior ENT Consultant for the delivery of high-quality evidence based care; effective and efficient diagnosing, managing and treating all patients placed under the role holders care. They make recommendations, and orders appropriate therapeutics and diagnostics as per the patient's condition.

With 240 single private suites, 10 operating rooms, and 23 Intensive Care beds, they provide primary, secondary, and tertiary healthcare services. Our Operating Rooms are equipped with the most advanced technology, allowing them to do minimally invasive surgery and imaging during operations. The facility is also equipped with the Da Vinci and Artis pheno robotic equipment which is more precise and enables quicker surgery and with fewer complications resulting in a faster recovery.

Responsibilities:
  • Categorises patients as per the requirement for conservative or surgical treatment.
  • Treats surgical cases independently involving ear, nose, throat, neck and face including that of oncologic resections.
  • Ensures optimal clinical care of patients with conservative diseases including, but not limited to sinusitis, epistaxis, anosmia.
  • Is capable of treating hearing disorders including placement of hearing aids.
  • Participates in audits or reviews conducted by internal auditing teams, accreditation bodies and national health committees.
  • Treat the diseases of the ear, upper throat and oral cavity, larynx, nose, face and throat.
  • Treat tonsils, adenoidectomy, infected mastoid and sinusitis.
  • Support patients with an impaired or altered sense of smell.
  • Prescribes medication, executes a treatment plan, performs hearing tests, performs radiation therapy, and refers patients to other health care professionals including physical or speech therapy.
  • Ensure comprehensive patient care and work well with other healthcare professionals including doctors, nurses, assistants, technicians and admin medical personnel.
  • Assumes an active role in development, optimisation, and validation of new and existing services in partnership with other healthcare professionals, business development representatives and/or project management teams.
  • Maintains and upgrades knowledge by attending CPD's and courses.
  • Contributes and abides to all quality standards implemented in the organisation as per internal audits and accreditation requirements.
  • Enhances department and organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in medicine and surgery like MBBS, MBBCh (Essential)
  • Western Board certified in ENT and eligible license in the state of Qatar as per MoPH criteria (Essential)
  • A minimum of 12 months duration from one of the category 1 western countries.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years full time Consultant ENT experience with at least 1 year experience in a government, semi-government or a teaching hospital.
  • Minimum of 1 year in GCC (Preferred).
  • Arabic speaking candidates preferred.
