Responsibilities

  1. Lead a team of testers by providing guidance, mentorship, and leveraging your team lead experience to drive excellence and deliver results.
  2. Review User Stories, artifacts, and proposed solutions to ensure they align with the end user requirements, providing valuable feedback to enhance the quality of the software.
  3. Collaborate with the development team to gather test data and define comprehensive test scenarios, assisting in proof-of-concept activities to validate the proposed solutions.
  4. Ensure that all test artifacts are peer-reviewed, and the test coverage is effective, obtaining approval from business stakeholders.
  5. Independently manage and coordinate testing activities, including test planning, execution, and reporting, while ensuring adherence to timelines and project milestones.
  6. Demonstrate outstanding communication skills, proactively engaging with other teams to manage testing cycles and effectively address and resolve reported defects.
  7. Conduct root cause analysis of incidents reported in operational systems and ensure that any changes to the application code are thoroughly tested before implementation, in compliance with IT governance processes.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Extensive experience (8+ years) in Functional Testing, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
  3. Strong leadership skills and previous experience as a team lead is a must.
  4. Excellent understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  5. Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams to gather test data and define comprehensive test scenarios.
  6. Experience in conducting root cause analysis and ensuring that application code changes are thoroughly tested.

  1. You will be working on site, from our client's office in Doha.
  2. The working schedule is 5 days a week, from Sunday to Thursday (In Qatar, weekend is Friday to Saturday).
