The job holder is accountable for demonstrating exemplary behavior with regard to H3SE rules & requirements and for implementing H3SE rules within his area of responsibility. The job holder is accountable for all interface activities during DBN PWM Project execution:

  • Develop and maintain processes to effectively manage DBN PWM project across the E&C.
  • Establish and set a robust follow-up of the EPCIC progress to measure and control DBN PWM contract status.
  • Develop and maintain processes to effectively follow up the progress of DBN PWM Project and establish repeatable processes to ensure the Project meets deadlines and budgets while maintaining the support from internal stakeholders and resources.
  • Responsible for budget and schedule analyses, reviews, start-up, execution, and closeout processes required for projects throughout their lifecycle.
  • Analyze, develop, and establish key reporting structures for the DBN PWM project, formulating reports based on project scheduling and timetables for deliverables, while serving as a liaison for the project's technical, functional, and non-functional teams.
Your Tasks
  • Implement review, control, start-up execution, and closeout processes and engage in project controls process improvement activities.
  • Analyze performance indicators and assist Project owners in the completion of the project within its planned scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Routinely perform complete or component analysis of projects and notify the entire project team about abnormalities or variances.
  • Reduce project lags by supporting internal teams and client activities on strategic data analysis.
  • Develop past period cost and budget performance reports and associated follow-up tools.
  • Actively participate in the budgeting process with Area-wise unit cost data.
  • Ensure timely preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Perform monthly financial projections by analyzing consultant, employee, and subcontract labor for projects.
  • Manage administrative and organizational activities to perform cost analysis and estimation.
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop, manage, and control schedules.
  • Analyze start, completion, and duration variances through approved baseline schedules.
  • Be the focal point for links/discussions/updates with IOP and shutdown teams on all topics related to planning and POB management.
  • Ensure adequation between CONTRACTOR's schedule and POB requirements.
  • Develop and execute reporting procedures to present project status and work valuation.
  • Recommend and customize project control systems to satisfy project requirements.
  • Monitor, analyze, and validate project status, ensure timely and accurate updating of project dashboards, and highlight issues early to stakeholders.
  • Perform the role of ERP SAP Super User for the DBN PWM Project, ensuring to optimize the business process flow within Engineering & Construction.
  • Be responsible for User Acceptance Tests, delivery of training to end users, and improvements in process by means of Change Requests. Be the primary point of contact for all Primavera P6 related matters; access, authorization, technical issues, and concerns for the DBN PWM Project.

  • Collect, coordinate, monitor, and track cost data with contractors, vendors, and project team members to manage project forecasts.
  • Evaluate and track contract deliverables, spending, and invoicing.
  • Participate in the elaboration/analysis/validation of Change Orders during project execution and consider their possible impact on budget and schedule.
  • Work with Finance and C&P to ensure established procurement policy, accounting processes, systems, and procedures are followed.
  • Manage the Project Management database (MS Access) if applicable.
  • Understand, practice, and lead the organization's commitment by example to achieve incident-free safety.
  • Oversee and report performance and progress through analytical techniques to validate cost and performance.
  • Monitor and control projects with earned value analysis using dashboards.
  • Review EPCIC CONTRACTOR timesheets to ensure consistency between CONTRACTOR's own progress report and Project control tools.
  • Link with Project Control to ensure compatibility of material procurement & movement with the project's schedule and planned Rolling Forecast.
  • Prepare dashboards and reports for monthly engagement portfolio reviews which aid leadership and stakeholders with decisions to ensure successful implementation of projects.
  • Act as point of contact for budget holders, instrumental in support and central to enhancing budget holder understanding of the reporting processes and their responsibilities.
  • Liaise with the Project Planning team in the preparation of the project detail plans.
  • Work in coordination with business analysts on project spending trends, variances, forecasts, etc.
  • On a regular basis, visit the CONTRACTOR Warehouse to improve communications and get feedback from the site.
  • Prepare and consolidate the project's progress reports.
  • Participate in onshore WORKSHOPS / offshore SITES regular visits to improve communications and get feedback from CONTRACTOR / SITES.
  • Provide detailed KPIs for DBN PWM progress control and follow-up.
  • Carry out any other duty that may be assigned from time to time by line management.
Your Profile
  • Engineer or technician with a minimum of 7 years' experience in the construction of O&G installations.
  • Experience in estimation and/or specialization in finance (accounts and management) and/or experience in project management.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Project Systems (PS), Plant Maintenance (PM), Materials Management (MM).
  • Finance (FI) and reporting (BW) modules of SAP R/3 ERP system.
  • Experience in the use of relevant software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.
