S/he should have: 2.1. alignment with the ISL values ofdiversity, passion, identity, and understanding. 2.2. excellentcommunication skills with the ability to effectively communicate inEnglish. 2.3. high-level understanding of current research on howstudents learn and the ability to motivate high school students.2.4. ability to inspire students of varying backgrounds andabilities through differentiated instruction and engaging learningopportunities. 2.5. capability to support student needs in learningand pastoral matters. 2.6. awareness of the principles ofUnderstanding by Design and Assessment for Learning. 2.7. activeparticipation in the development of the high school and fosteringteam spirit. 2.8. stay informed about current developments andresearch findings in the field of high school teaching and learningof Maths . 2.9. Effective time management skills to manage adiverse and demanding workload. •Responsibilities. 3.1.Implement DP and MYP policy and strategic plans. 3.2. Collaboratewith the Head of High School and the MYP and DP Coordinators toensure effective curriculum delivery, including resource selectionand management. 3.3. Participate in the design, development,implementation, and review of the DP and MYP curriculum. 3.4.Contribute to the design, development, implementation, and reviewof assessment and reporting systems. 3.5. Promote the health andsafety of high school classes. 3.6. Engage in professionaldevelopment and contribute to regular staff training and meetings.3.7. Foster a sense of team spirit in the high school and buildconnections with colleagues across the school. 3.8. Contribute tocommunity service and global citizenship goals. 3.9. Participate inthe extra-curricular activities program of the school. 3.10.Promote a positive attitude between the high school and the widercommunity through cooperative relations, publications,competitions, and other initiatives. 3.11. Enhance the professionalstanding of the teaching body. 3.12. Participate in the ongoingdevelopment of the DP and MYP, addressing matters from theauthorization report. 3.13 Use technology to support high schoollearning, especially through the use of a Virtual LearningEnvironment (e.g., ManageBac , Microsoft Teams, etc.). 3.14.Support the school in meeting its program obligations for NEASC andthe IB. 3.15. Contribute to the development of Assessment forLearning (AFL) and Understanding by Design (UBD) within the highschool
