• Take the lead role in thedevelopment, maintenance and management ofSIMS.
• Input of data using SIMs packages toassist with the fully integrated studentdatabase.
• Ensure maintenance of the schoolSIMS system, set up staff accounts, access rights, attendingtraining courses and training staffinternally.
• Responsible for ensuring thatsystem backups are run.
• Responsible for theupgrading of the system and issue notification to staff of changesin the modules from each upgrade.
• Awareness ofexternal SIMs training and matching this to internalneed.
• Prepare and deliver SIMs training inhouse to appropriate cohorts of staff.
•Supervision of data input to ensure accuracy.
•Setting up of new systems to meet the needs of the SeniorLeadership Team, Heads of School Year and Coordinators/YearLeaders
• Producing a bank of reports for all touse.
• Reporting on all data held withinSIMs.
• To produce clear concise accurateinformation to support teachers in raising standards of attainmentand behavior in the Academy.
