Job Description Position : Occupational Nurse& Admin Assistant Organization Function : General Country :Qatar Location : Mesaieed Supervisor : Human Resources Generalistand Matrix to HSE Manager Purpose To provide full Health andAdministrative support to every employee and department To helpensure efficiency /effectiveness of service to all employees Tosupport the HR Generalist in HR Operations, specifically in theareas of administration, communication and employee relations.Areas of responsibility Occupational Health Provide nursing care toemployees in the workplace in case they get ill. Administersmedicines and first aid care to the employees and if theircondition worsens, calls for an ambulance so they can be admittedto a hospital Maintains the inventory of the medicines and othermedical equipment required in the company clinic Validate andapprove the sick leave submitted by employees and provides amonthly report on the sickness cases / diagnosis of employeesCoordination with local partner clinics / government hospitals foremployee well-being programmes such as blood donation and annualhealth check-ups and etc. People Administration Maintains allmasterlist related to employee’s medical insurance andworksmen insurance Enrols employees to the Medical Insurance andWorkmen’s Compensation Insurance Processes InsuranceClaims or inquiries Reports separation of resigned / terminatedemployees in order to cancel the insurance Takes part in theMedical Investigation for all work-related accidents in relation toinsurance claim Plans the issuance and distributes on time theemployee uniforms and PPE Coordinates all government-relatedadministrative procedures for employees Work Environment andEmployee Relationship Assists in all the employee relationsactivities such as townhalls, trainings, sports, party, etc.Proposes Well Being Programs for implementation quarterly such asmorning exercise and the like Develops different strategies toeducate and train the employees on health-related topics HR& Other Government Related Administrative Tasks Ensure thattraining records are updated on a regular basis. Maintains employeefile records (both hard and electronic) in a timely andconfidential manner. Takes a photo of the new employee for theannouncement and keeps it in his/her file. Facilitates bank accountapplications of all the newly hired employees. Plans and managesthe ordering of uniforms and other PPEs of all the employees.Responsible for the preparation of the renewal of theemployee’s medical insurance and worksmen in coordinationwith the purchasing department. Prepares HR related certificates toemployees Assist in event set-up and further all internalcommunications as required. Maintain all display boards in officeand factory Any other tasks assigned by the line manager. Expectedresults Quarterly Well-Being programs implemented Reduced employeeabsenteeism resulting from effective health awareness On-timeenrolment / termination of employee insurance On-time issuance ofuniforms and other PPEs of all the employees.
