- Overall management of the HSQE andtraining department;
- Responsible for allhealth, safety, quality and environment related matters regardingoperations & maintenance.
- Ensures thesafety and integrity according to applicable rules ®ulations;
- Applies HSQE policy andstandards;
- Co-operates with customer, Ministryof Transport (MoTC) and other stakeholder to address and clarifyHSQE matters
- Co-operates with other managers toaddress HSQE concerns andcomplaints;
- Implements and updates the safetymanagement system (SMS) and health system and plan andprocedures;
- Implements and updates of thequality system and plan;
- Implements and updatesthe environmental protection strategy andplan;
- Compiles and updates associated rules& regulations;
- Investigates analysesand reports on all safety related events (degraded operations,incidents, accidents);
- Liaises with localdepartments and authorities regarding safety, quality, health andenvironmental matters;
- Conducts safety,environmental and quality audits;
- Makes regularproposals for improvement of the HSQEsystem;
- Develops guidelines and supportingdocuments for tool box talks;
- Ensures that alltraining documentation is updated and all staff are properlytrained by the training team;
