  • Provides leadership andoversight for all construction execution activities for the BGDBrownfield scope ofwork.

  • Responsible for thereview of all scope technical documentation and packages, includingmethod statements, JSA’s, work method statements,construction sequencing, schedules, and regular reporting ofprogress.

  • Provides visiblesafety leadership by example to the Contractor and activelyparticipates in SHES management program including daily toolboxtalk (TBT), task instruction (TI) and awarenesscampaigns.

  • EnsureContractor’s construction activities are completed inaccordance with NFXP Onshore Project procedures, regulations,specifications, standards, and permit to work procedures asapplicable, including relevant RLICprocedures.

  • Manage andcoordinate site activities of the Contractor and subcontractor(s)in the designated area of responsibility. Report on theconstruction activities, progress, areas of concern and implementmitigating actions. Participate in construction discipline reviewmeetings. Lead a small team of Company Construction Superintendentsto ensure all Contractors’ activities are delivered toSHES, Quality, Schedule, and Cost requirements and in compliancewith permit to work requirements(CPW).

  • Daily sanction ofeCPW in RLIC areas. Act as Operating Authority within the RLICsystem. Perform a similar role and function as Qatar Gas (QG) Hostin OPCO areas.

  • Ensurecorrection of non-conformance report items and other issuessupporting QA/QCcompliance.

  • Work with theProject Team to identify construction risks and prepare mitigationplans. Work with the Procurement team to monitor changes to vendorfabrication windows and market conditions for labor equipment andservices.

KeyAccountabilities

  • Timelyreview of technical documentation, ensuring it meets the NFEOnshore Project and relevant regulatory requirements includingmethod statements, JSA’s. Ensure all BGD Brownfieldconstruction activities are executed in line with approved Path ofConstruction. Timely resolution of field Construction issues forContractor, associated with the Corridors scope of work. Safe andtimely execution of BGD Brownfield works constructionactivities.

  • Work withInterface team to ensure submission and approval of all technicalpackages by the Contractor prior to starting the constructionactivities.

  • Works in aProject environment in which the incumbent strives to achieve bestin class Safety, Health, Environmental & Securityperformance by creating a culture that encourages everyone toperform their best every day on every task. Works in a highlyvisible Project environment with large capital expenditures andsignificant schedule execution pressure. Works effectively withinestablished policies and procedures and participates in thedevelopment of these to meet changing project needs. Works in adynamic team environment that has high expectations for flawlessProject execution in safety, quality, cost and scheduleperformance. Success in the position requires the incumbent todemonstrate accuracy, initiative and the ability to multi-task asessentialskills.

  • Demonstratewillingness to tackle a variety of tasks in response to evolvingbusiness needs.

  • Utilizes asystematic approach to problem solving that ensures accuracy,timeliness, and quality documentation towards resolution. Managescomplex tasks to completion within time constrains of Project, withminimal guidance. Manages the resolution of problems in demandingand unfamiliar situations using experience and acquiredknowledge.
