  • Developing and maintaining IT policies,procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with legal andregulatory requirements. This involves creating a framework thatoutlines best practices, risk management, and security measures forIT operations
  • Conducting risk assessments toidentify potential IT compliance risks andvulnerabilities
  • Developing risk mitigationstrategies, controls, and action plans. Monitoring and evaluatingthe effectiveness of controls to minimizerisks
  • Coordinating and managing internal andexternal IT audits, assessments, and compliance reviews.Collaborating with auditors to provide necessary documentation,evidence, and support. Addressing any identified issues or gaps andimplementing corrective actions
  • Developing anddelivering IT compliance training programs to enhanceemployees' understanding of IT policies, procedures, andregulatory requirements. Promoting awareness of IT compliance andsecurity best practices throughoutODE
  • Participating in incident responseactivities related to IT compliance violations, data breaches, orsecurity incidents. Collaborating with IT security engineers toinvestigate incidents, assess impacts, and implement appropriateremediation measures. Reporting incidents to relevant stakeholders,management, and regulatory authorities asrequired
  • Generating regular reports on ITcompliance activities, status, and metrics. Maintaining accuratedocumentation of compliance efforts, audit findings, riskassessments, and remediation actionstaken
  • Keeping abreast of evolving IT complianceregulations, industry standards, and emerging technologies.Continuously improving knowledge and skills in IT compliancethrough professional development andnetworking
  • Collaborating with all IT functionsto ensure they all comply with our policies andstandards
  • Working closely with the ITdepartment, audit, and upper management personnel to assesspotential risks with IT systems
