Qualifications/Requirements:• High School Diploma / GED • Minimum of 24months of experience in repair of large commercial engines• Powerplant Mechanic (A&P) license •Ability and willingness to travel on short notice to domestic andinternational air locations of large commercial engines, asrequired Desired Characteristics: • Humble: respectful,receptive, agile, eager to learn • Transparent: sharescritical information, speaks with candor, contributesconstructively • Focused: quick learner, strategicallyprioritizes work, committed • Leadership ability: strongcommunicator, decision-maker, collaborative • Problemsolver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, criticalthinker • Approach work with a“can-do” attitude and a sense of commitment toboth team and customer objectives • Prior internshipexperience within GE On Wing Support or a GE Engine Servicesbusiness • Demonstrated knowledge of lean and problemsolving • Strong communication skills and problem solvingability are a must • Possess a desire to learn and growwith advances in technology • LEAP, GE90, CFM, CF6, CF34,and GENX experience • Line maintenance, engine changes,module removal & installation, or LRU removals andinstallations • Demonstrated quality, compliance andcustomer satisfaction skills • Borescope, Boro blendrepair and NDT Experience will be an added advantage.
