Essential • A certified teachingqualification and QTS such as a PGCE, B.Ed, PGDE. • TheNASENCo, iSENCo, or equivalent leadership qualification and SENDexperience. • A minimum of four years teaching experience.• Experience of leading and managing staff. •Experience of implementing whole school change. •Experience in teaching second language learners. •Experience of assisting children on an individual basis, in smallgroup and whole class work. • A high level of written andspoken English. • Experience of teaching in Britishcurriculum schools. • A proven track record of providingoutstanding teaching and learning. • Exceptional subjectknowledge. • Committed to ensuring high standards ofteaching and learning. • Collaborative and able to work aspart of a team. • Inter-culturally aware withwell-developed interpersonal skills. • A willingness tocontribute in a positive manner to all aspects of the schoolvision, including extra-curricular activities. Desirable qualities:• Qualifications in psychometric assessment and accessarrangements (CPT3A). • Leading and managing learningsupport across a mainstream secondary school or mainstream primary.• Experience of teaching internationally. • Childprotection trained. • First aidtrained.
