EssentialResponsibilities andDuties

BusinessDevelopment andProspecting:

  • Solicit,confirm Corporate accounts including negotiating rates andconfirming contracts that ensure targeted budgetachievement.
  • Identify and create targetaccounts that will generate business on behalf of hotel but notconflict with GSO efforts.
  • Utilize arrivalreports, Hotelligence, Opera business intelligence, Knowland etc,to solicit and secure business on behalf ofhotel.
  • Use company wide programs, salesdevelopments, prospecting projects, GSO customer events andreporting for individual businessdevelopment.
  • Follow up on all businessinquiries and leads and qualify business to generate room nightsand impact RevPar performance.
  • Impact corporatesales production to ensure maximum accountpenetration.
  • Create and execute account plansfor top 20 accounts and make recommendations re: pricing, yieldmanagement, room night production, sales activities,etc.
  • Achieve monthly and annual revenue anddirect sales goals including outside sales calls, prospectingcalls, site inspections, and entertainment asoutlined.
  • Manage annual RFP process for eachindividual targeted account including account and marketintelligence and pricing recommendations to maximize hotelprofitability and secure travel programinclusion.
  • Seek out new local business accountswith a focus on City Wide Sports Groups and SportsTravel.
