Job Summary
The role operates as a Global Engineering expert as partof the Rotating Equipment team within the Asset Technology Centrewith the purpose to drive the Asset Integrity Vision for fosteringcontinuous improvement in Reducing operational risks Increasingrevenue and optimizing cost across all Manufacturing sitesglobally. Provide technical leadership on rotating equipment whichare specific to polymer plants and thier associated systems whichmay typically include agitators mixers slurry handling pumps andseal systems rotary pressure/vacuum filters vacuum pumps rotarydryers centrifuges rotary valves screw conveyors extruderspelletizers blenders/ compounders conveying compressors packagingsystems and giving technical support & leading recommendationsto affiliates & projects. Undertake studies pertaining to abovestated asset types that encompass reliability risk assessment assetstrategy operation corrective maintenance and failure analysis.Induct new technology specialist level inputs to uprates and minorprojects monitoring and reporting of every affiliates equipmentperformance identification of gaps in maintenance systems andpractices through metrics and audits. Lead development andstandardization of best engineering practices and communication oflearning from incidents. Globally enhance technical competencies ofThis Company engineers in these areas of expertise to drivelongterm value creation to This Company.
KeyResponsibilities:
TechnicalLeadership
- Drivereliability management for the polymer plant equipment
- Define and monitor KPIs for the asset group
- Determine gaps and develop strategies for safetyreliability and availability
- Identify anddevelop This Company Manufacturing Standards and engineering BestPractices (BP) for Polymer Plant Equipment
- Ensure timely review of This Company EngineeringStandards
- Monitor the market for innovativesolutions
- Engage with OEMs to address designissues and technological improvements

Strategy andPlanning
- Develop andmanage annual and fiveyear work plans for rotatingequipment
- Conduct Performance Killer analysisand generate Resolution Plans (PKRP)

Technical Support andEngagement
- Providetechnical support to resolve chronic failures/issuesglobally
- Liaise with various departments forequipment strategies and technical solutions
- Collaborate with asset technology development and globalsuppliers
- Support 2025 strategies through apool of rotating equipment experts
- Participatein audits assessments and failure analysis
- Provide expert knowledge on safety and reliabilityprograms
- Support site/mega projects throughengineering reviews
Knowledge and NetworkManagement
- Communicate critical business cases through TechnicalAlerts (TA) and High Value Learning from Incidents(HVLI)
- Participate in rotating equipmenttechnical networks forums and conferences
- Manage the Polymer Plant Equipment Expert Group forknowledge sharing
Competency Development Mentoring andCoaching
- Deliverspecialized training to This Company manufacturingengineers
- Develop and retain topqualityrotating equipment expertise through mentoring andcoaching
Requirements:
- This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Jubail SaudiArabia.
- Bachelor Degree ofScience (BS) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Manufacturing Experience (Technical engineeringMaintenance Management Reliability and ProjectManagement).
- At least 15 years of engineeringexperience in asset reliability and maintenance.
- Recognized technical/engineering expert on designmaintenance and operation of rotating equipment specific to polymerand petrochemical plants as demonstrated by significantaccomplishments and contributions acquired over a period of 15 ormore years.
- Experience related toDesign/Engineering or of Service/Technical support group with amajor pump OEM is preferred.
- Possesses athorough knowledge of general principles and theories related toengineering and contributes significantly to the solution of avariety of unique and complex engineering problems.
- Experience of people management and ability to useinfluence to achieve results.
- Flexible andable to reprioritize tasks based on changing businessneeds.
- Desire and ability to selfteach newsoftware programs or systems.
- Excellentcommunication skills both interpersonal skills and presentationskills to all levels including executive management.
- Above average proficiency in English language (writtenand spoken).
- Proficient in MS Officeapplications (with advanced knowledge of MS Excel ).
- Experience within the Gulf States would beadvantageous.
