We are working with a Major Oil & Gas operator tosource Logistics/Procurement Specialist to work for Major OffshoreTopsides/Pipeline Project. The role is responsible to oversee allContractors expediting and logistics cycle of North FieldProduction Sustainability (NFPS) EPC - Offshore and PipelineProject, by implementing effective strategies and policies toresolve critical/complex issues using procurement, logistics andexpediting expertise and knowledge to ensure timely delivery of allmaterials in line with project schedule and logistics process thatis in compliance with international and local shipping and customsrule and regulations. This is a long-term contract role working ona residential basis 6-days per week / 10 hours per day. Please seedetails below: Title: Logistics-Procurement Specialist Start Date:Negotiable (typically within 1 month notice) Duration: 36 months(potential for extension) Location: Onshore (Site) WorkingSchedule: 6-days per week / 10 hours per day Job Purpose: Reportsto Procurement Lead Establish and maintain alignment with the PMTon project material logistics and expediting needs based ondelivery priorities and construction criticality. Manage expeditingand logistics associated with Company and Contractor procured LLIincluding ensuring compliance with project logistics processes andprocedures and development of other coordination procedure. Reviewand approve Contractor’s procurement logistics andexpediting procedures and processes. Develop and execute logisticsand expediting Plans (overall and individual) that support theproject’s goals and objectives including plans formonitoring, expediting and delivery purchase of spare parts and forpurchase of bulk materials. Develop and implement effectivestrategy and plans for achievement of Custom duty exemption for allsuch materials that are duty exempt and maintain records ofsuccessful exemptions in consultation with PMT, Supply andContractor including the review and modify Contractor’sshipping and Customs clearance documents to ensure compliance withCompany’s requirements including terms and conditions.Responsible to manage the entire process for establishment of HSCodes for import duties expentions including implementation againstall shipments. Review Contractor’s compliance withInternational trade requirements especially for materials that aresusceptible for dual or multiple use and all the associatedpermitting and approval requirements and be responsible to manageand approve all project transactions relating to Custom dutiespayment by Contractor. Review the EPC Contractor procurement statusreport and identify any inconsistencies and gaps, highlight to PMTto ensure delivery of materials is aligned with the projectschedule and support in the evaluation of potential change ordersand claims relating to procurement minimum requirements. Ensureeffective use of Contractor’s materials managementsystem, coordinate spares acquisition process, and provide SpareParts Coordination for the project including advise on the EPCMspare parts related activities including obtaining the requiredSpare Parts List (RSPL) data; work issues as appropriate to ensurematerials and equipment are received at needed. MinimumRequirements: Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business relatedsubject. 10 years’ direct experience inprocurement/supply chain within the oil and gas industry preferablywith Major offshore pipeline projects
