Armament Technician

Principal Accountabilities •Consistently observes and enforces all AFOSH and security standardsduring all maintenance operations in assigned site and temporaryduty locations. • In the event of an emergency, takesnecessary control and timely response actions. • Performsassigned maintenance in accordance with established technical andquality management directives. • Maintains all TRAPequipment to maximum, serviceable standards in accordance with USAFtechnical data, including corrosion control, to meet minimumcritical levels at all times. • Reconditions, repairs andreplaces defective or missing parts of RAP and containers.• Advises the TRAP Supervisor of any factors limitingmaintenance capability. • Coordinates with Supply aboutTRAP inventory controls. • Verifies that storagefacilities provide maximum environmental protection for all TRAP.• Uses technical data and the required documentation inaccordance with 00-5-2 and 00-20 Series T.O.s. • Preparesassets for shipments in accordance with tasking actions. •Submits timely and accurate serviceability records. •Stores tools, replacement bench and operational stocks inaccordance with standards. • Inspects and performs minormaintenance on facilities and installed equipment. •Maintains assigned vehicles and equipment. • Trains andsupervises Asian and Local National staff according to authorizedsafety and maintenance practices. • Performs other dutiesas assigned.
