Join our motivated and vibrantTeam as IT Specialist and build your career with us.JobDescriptionBASIC FUNCTION IT Specialist will maintain informationtechnology systems and networks. He will perform both technical andadministrative tasks to ensure functionality and efficiency ofcomputer and telecom systems.HARDWARE: Ensures that the hotel workswith Accor Hardware partners. Has a good relationship to HardwarePartners Supports the Hotel in resolving Hardware issues throughescalation of issues with Hardware partners. Considered asHardware: Computers, Servers, Routers, Switches Cables, PABX,Monitors, and Screens, Point of Sale devices, all relevantinterfaces, UPS and related devices, and other activecomponents.SOFTWARE: Ensures that all Accor IT Policies andGuidelines are being applied in the hotel. Ensures that onlyoriginal and properly licensed application programs according tothe IT managements policy and requirement are running on the hotelssystems and computers. Has a good relationship to the Softwaresuppliers, Supports the hotel in resolving Software issues byescalation of issues to Software suppliers.USER: Ensures that nouser in the hotel has access to programs other than needed toperform the job. He/she is in charge to provide and maintain atraining program (in coordination with the Training department).This is to enable the best possibly know how, skill level and useof systems by all employees in the Hotel.SECURITY / DATASAFE: Isresponsible for compliance of the Hotel with Accor IT SecurityPolicy. Is responsible for the backup of all relevant usergenerated data, be it part of the general system or personalsystems. He/she assures that always relevant backup policies areduly respected and the system reaches the highest level ofsecurity.Servers Infrastructure - Physical and VirtualNetworks -Data, Voice and Wi-FiProperty management systems (PMS) and Sales& Catering System (S&C) replacement or upgrade andalignmentCentral profile solutions (CP)Central reservations systems(CRS)Revenue management systems (RMS)Various middleware /InterfacesData warehouse, reporting and Business Intelligence (BI)- Interface OnlySales force automation (SFA) - InterfaceCustomerrelationship management (CRM)Point of Sales applicationBack officeaccounting software applicationProcurement and inventory managementapplicationIP TVHuman resources management systemAccor brandsignature systems (Commercial Systems, WIFI everywhere,etc...)QualificationsBachelors degree in Information Technology,Computer Science, or a related field.Prior experience in ITsupport, preferably in the hospitality industry.Proficiency innetworking, operating systems (Windows, Linux), hardwaretroubleshooting, and software applications.Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonalskills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in afast-paced environment.Certification in relevant IT disciplines(e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) is aplus
