Provide a warm, engaging welcometo all guests and visitors at thehotel
Maintain a good relationship with alltaxi drivers
Ensure the traffic of frontentrance is in good order at all times
Ensurethe front entrance is clean and tidy, paying special attention toall glass areas and the main doors as well as emptying ashtrayswhen required
Ensure all happenings oraccidents at the front entrance are reported to the Guest ServiceManager in a timely manner
Organize taxis forall in-house guests and patrons
Ensure allpatrons or guest’s cars are parked properly withcare
Make guests aware of any dents/ scratchesbefore issuing of valet ticket
Liaise withvalet staff for parking and collecting ofcars
Ensure a high awareness of security at alltimes
Be aware of all functions that are takingplace in the hotel and to direct guests to the correctdestination
Display an attitude offriendliness, courtesy and sincerity to all guests (both internaland external), making them feel welcome and atease
Maintain amicable and co-operative workingrelations with other departments in theHotel
Comply with all Health and Safetylegislation, using working practices that are safe and sensible toyour colleagues and to yourself
Be aware of thedepartmental schedule and to always be on time forduty
