The company wasfounded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, SaudiArabia.Job SummaryWe are seeking a Safety Engineer to join the thisPrevention organization (LP), which is the corporate safetyorganization within the company. We provide both day-to-dayin-field occupational and process safety support to This Companyoperations, as well as centralized technical support and consultingfunction. Our field offices are located in Abqaiq, Riyadh, RasTanura, Dhahran, Udhailiyah, Jeddah (including Yanbu and Jazan),and Tanajib. Through these offices, LP provides its services to allThis Company facilities and departments that are located throughoutthe Kingdom. Your primary role as a Safety Engineer (LossPrevention Engineer) is to provide daily support to companyfacilities and departments, helping them effectively implement theThis Company Safety Management System (Occupational &Process Safety) expectations and associated programs, as well asassuring compliance to all company safetyrequirements.Responsibilities:• Facilitate theimplementation of the company's Safety Management System,ensuring alignment with its objectives and expectations. Developassociated safety processes and actively participate inself-assessments.• Conduct comprehensive field inspectionsand reviews to assess compliance with company and internationalcodes and standards. Identify safety concerns, devise solutions,and formulate practical and cost-effective correctiveactions.• Identify, assess, recommend actions, and ensurefollow-up on critical safety tasks and control methodologiesassociated with operational safety practices, such as work atheight, isolation/LOTO, permit to work, hydrogen sulfide, confinedspace entry, and excavations.• Engage in safetystudies/activities using risk assessment and mitigationmethodologies, including PHAs, HAZOPs, JSAs, incidentinvestigations, compliance reviews, and insurancesurveys.• Respond to emergency situations and incidents,offering technical assistance and advice whether during regularworking hours or after.• Participate in worksitecontractor safety management activities, encompassing aspects likecontractor selection, prequalification, monitoring of work sitecompliance, and performance measurement.• Support thereporting, classification, and investigation of all incidents. Playan active role in incident investigations, identifying root causesand providing appropriate recommendations to preventrecurrence.• Deliver specialized Loss Prevention-specifictraining to employees, contractors, and external parties.•Fulfill the role of mentoring other LP personnel, contributing toknowledge transfer and professional development within theteam.Requirements:• This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. • Hold aBachelor degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from anAccredited Institution.• 7+years of experience as a safetyprofessional in the oil and gas, petrochemicals, or relatedindustries.• Demonstrate a strong track record indelivering results, encompassing comprehensive experience in bothoccupational and process safety.• Showcase expertise inareas such as safety management, risk assessment, incidentprevention, and compliance with industry standards.•Exhibit excellent communication skills in English, allowingeffective interaction with peers and members ofmanagement.• Proficiency in producing clear and conciseoral and written reports in English
