Crane Technician

He will also berequired to mobilize offshore to client sites as required for ADHOCprojects.Main Responsibilities & Key Result AreasRepair,maintenance & test of cranes & lifting equipmentinc. but not limited to hook blocks, balls & swivels,gearboxes, overload protection units, and spooler units.Conductindependently offshore crane condition evaluations.Provide accurateidentification of all components, report on conditions and providesufficient information to order correct spare parts.Ensure workshopis kept clean tidy and all company equipment is kept in goodorderEnsure project requirements are met within the timeallowedEnsure constant improvement of safety, performance, andquality standardsEnsure all ongoing work is correctly risk assessedand identify/action new assessments.Work as part of a team withother departments.Uphold the standards of the company and work inline with the company's objectives.RecognizedQualifications And Experience8-10 years work experience in offshorelifting equipment environment operation and maintenance, at least 5year(s) of working experience in related field required forposition.Must have excellent leadership skills and be able tomotivate staff for teamwork.Good in English language (reading,writing and communication skills).Good working knowledge of MSoffice programs.Experience in repair & maintenance ofcranes related equipment.Experience in working toschedules.PreferredExperience the offshore service industry orsimilar environment.Experience in cranes & liftingequipment maintenance & repair.Behaviors And PersonalQualitiesGood Communication SkillsHigh standards ofworkmanshipAbility to work and react under pressure and tightdeadlines
