Housing Specialist

Responsibilities • Coordinates withManager to ensure and maintain 100% accountability of GovernmentProperty and Materials in accordance with applicable Governmentregulations and Property Management Plan. • Providesassistance to the Housing Department to effectively manage allGovernment Furnished Property to include Company Leased Propertyand Materials to help develop and coordinate the implementation ofpolicies and procedures • Determines condition of materialand equipment. Arranges disposal of excess or obsolete property;Prepares property disposition documentation and coordinatesdistribution. • Provides assistance, direction, andinformation to all employees as required acts as a customer servicerepresentative.. • Coordinates with the maintenancesub-contractor for replacement of appliances, equipment,furnishings and closing of work orders. • Schedules preand final clearance inspections for out-processing personnel, toinclude temporary visitors and sub-contractor employees. •Performs pre and final clearance inspections to include propertyinventory, helps with Health & Welfare Checks to includeissues regarding cleanliness. Conducts pre-issue functionalitychecks of room appliances and equipment. • Reviews andensures that housing assignments are in accordance with all VECTRUSManagement rules & regulations and local Qatar policy& laws; will also ensure that quality controls are in placeto ensure that bedrooms are ready-for-occupancy and ensuresexception to policy cases are appropriately approved by the Manager& VECTRUS Senior Management Chain of Command. •Plans, coordinates, inspect, issue beddings/linens, prepareapartments if needed for tenant arrivals and departures ofpersonnel to include property and key inventories. Also, may berequired to meet and greet new employees at the airport, to givethem an initial in briefing and drop them off to their assignedcompany housing unit if needed. • Serves as a customercontact for housing issues must be able to handle employeecomplaints and service-related issues tactfully with diplomaticdiscretion and acts as a security representative in regard totenant’s property and company related matters, alsoserves as a safety representative for the housing department andcontract. • Ensures accurate accounting and reconciliationof issued accountable properties, the cleanliness and preparationof housing facilities, appliances, equipment, and proper monitoringand reporting systems. • Supervises the conduct ofperiodic preventative facility maintenance and coordinates health /safety / welfare inspections between VECTRUS Housing, the tenants,and Sub-contractors when needed. • Coordinates with themaintenance sub-contractor for replacement of appliances,equipment, and furnishings. • Ensures that logistics andsupport services are adequate to respond to fluctuating and surgein housing requirements. • May be required to cleanhousing units to include bedrooms, common area rooms, andbathrooms. • Helps with weekly preventive maintenancechecks and services on company leased vehicles and may be requiredto help with accident reports and vehicle mileage logs. •Performs other duties as assigned and may be required to workadditional hours when mission requires. Must be on-call 24 hours aday, 7 days a week to respond to emergency situations.Qualifications • Education/Certifications: One-yearrelated experience may be substituted for one year of education ifthe degree is required: • 1. High school or equivalent.Associates Degree + 4 yrs. experience in Hotel Management orProperty or BS +1-2 yrs. experience. Management Administration is aplus. • 2. Must have a valid Qatar Driver’sLicense. • 3. Should have the ability to transportelectronic equipment to and from the base and must have greatcustomer service Skills. • Experience: • 1.
