What we offer you as a FrontOffice Agent / Receptionist : One of the most competitive salaries inthe countryComplimentary meals on dutyAmazing learning anddevelopment programsDiscounted rates at The Ned Doha Fantasticcareer growth opportunitiesA Front Office Agent / Receptionistworking with us entails the following : To process all guestscheck-ins by confirming reservations in Opera verifying guestidentity, requesting form of payment, assigning room, and issuingroom key in accordance with property policies and proceduresTosecure valid form of payment (e. g. credit card, cash) prior toissuing room keyTo set up accurate accounts for each guest uponcheck in according to their requirementsTo activate room keys usingelectronic key machine (Salto) and reissue new room keys to guestas necessary (e. g. lost key) by verifying guest identity and usingelectronic key machineTo assign room according to guest request andpreferences whenever possibleTo verify and adjust billing forguestsTo process all check-outs including express check-outs,resolving any late and disputed charges, settling account,retrieving room keys, and requesting comments on guest’sstayTo advise guest of any messages (erg voicemail, mail faxes)received for them, and send to room if requiredTo accommodaterequests for room changes when possibleTo assist with Stay OverreservationsTo file guest paperwork or documentation respectingGDPR guidelinesTo sell a room / accommodation to guests withoutreservations based on availabilityTo communicate and prioritiserooms on Q’ and keep track of changes in roomstatusTo co-ordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of roomsfor check-in and to report guest concernsTo confirm reservationsand cancellationsTo instruct guests on how to access the internetand hotel facilities (spa, restaurants)To run daily reports (numberof arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and checkreports for accuracyTo complete designated cashier and closingreports in Opera and to prepare the adjustment forms needed forfinanceTo run credit card authorization report and check fordiscrepanciesTo charge late charges on guests bills (Minibar,Laundry, Cowshed products)To update guests details in the systemaccording to the information provided on the RegistrationCardQualifications : Previous experience in the same role in a luxuryhotelGreat interpersonal and communication skillsExcellentproblem-solving skillsExceptional people skillsPassionate forhelping peopleFriendliness, efficiency and a can-do' attitude are what people have come toexpect when they visit us and our success will depend on yourwillingness to go that extra mile.
