Summary The Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cleaning staff to ensure the cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the assigned facilities. This role involves planning and coordinating cleaning schedules, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Supervision and Management • Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff. • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members. • Ensure that staff adhere to scheduled shifts and complete assigned tasks efficiently. • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback. • Quality Control • Inspect work areas to ensure cleaning standards are met. • Address and resolve any issues or complaints regarding cleanliness. • Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness. • Training and Development • Train new staff on proper cleaning techniques and use of equipment. • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for existing staff. • Ensure staff are knowledgeable about health and safety regulations. • Health and Safety Compliance • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. • Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed. • Maintain records of safety training and incidents. • Inventory and Supplies Management • Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies. • Place orders for new supplies as needed. • Ensure proper storage and handling of cleaning chemicals. • Administrative Duties • Maintain records of cleaning schedules, staff attendance, and performance. • Prepare and submit reports to the Facilities Manager. • Assist in the development of cleaning budgets. • Customer Service • Respond to client and customer inquiries and complaints promptly. • Foster positive relationships with clients and customers. • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
