Responsibilities: • Patient Care: • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments to understand patients' health goals, dietary needs, preferences, and restrictions. • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based nutrition plans tailored to each patient's specific condition and requirements. • Provide education and counseling to patients on healthy eating habits, portion control, and managing specific dietary needs. • Monitor patient progress toward their health goals through regular consultations and adjustments to their nutrition plans as needed. • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. • Documentation and Reporting: • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records documenting patient assessments, interventions, and progress. • Prepare reports and summaries of nutritional interventions for other healthcare professionals involved in patient care. • Professional Development: • Stay updated on the latest advancements in clinical nutrition research and best practices. • Participate in continuing education opportunities to maintain professional licensure and enhance your skills. • Contribute to the overall improvement of nutritional services within the hospital or clinic.
