Responsibilities: • Give full assistant for the Project Manager in all Electrical activities required to be delivered in the site on timely manner and required Quality/Quantity • Assist Project Manager in Governing and oversight of project activities. • Initiate Fast Accident Report immediately when any accident/incident noticed, and then forward it to the Safety Officer,Site Engineers & Project Manager. • Ability to read electric generating plants, distribution lines and stations. • Conduct field surveys and study maps, graphs, diagrams, and other data to identify and correct power system problems. • Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of developmental parts, assemblies, or systems under simulated operating conditions, and record results. • Collaborate with electrical engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve developmental problems. • Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical instruments or testing equipment. • Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems. • Well known of Testing and commissioning procedures for electrical installations. • Visit construction sites to observe conditions impacting design and to identify solutions to technical design problems involving electrical systems equipment that arise during construction. • Ensuring to follow up the addressed overall objectives and program define by the Project Manager. • In coordination with the Project manager evaluate the Electrical subcontractor who finishes his work within a period not exceeding two weeks after finishing using the approved procedures and forms ISO 9001. • Coordinate with the Main Store Storekeeper and Purchasing Managers for material delivery and receiving in coordination with the Project Manager. • Make sure that all employees in the Project aware of the Company Quality Policy, Objective and the ISO 9001 system in coordination with the Project Manger. • Follow up and conduct required test (Electrical, Testing &Commissioning). • Prepare monthly report and coordinate with MEP coordinator and project manager which includes Electrical activities happened on site. • Allocation of available resources in cost effective manner in coordination with foreman • Study drawing to provide technical clearance to electrical subcontractor in coordination with project manager, consultant and MEP Coordinator. • Timely submission of inspections to proceed works without any stoppage • Seek any clarification with project manager / consultant if any variance • Recommend required quantities for payment after monitoring subcontractors performance (SC) and timely receivable of payment to S/C • Update information to planner/ project manager for progress update as well monthly invoice claims. • Issue non-conformity to project manager if any materials rejected on site • Recommend corrective actions to project manager if delays happens • Timely communication of variation to project manager / Site QS • Follow up with subcontractors, suppliers for timely completion of works as well delivery of materials • Working hours should starts upon official start timing (i.e. 6 AM) and end up as per closing of site depends on balance of works. • Performs any other similar duties assigned by the Project Manager. Expected Deliverables / Accountable: • Adequately control on site to prevent from major damages • Available of approved materials and subcontractors on site • Sufficient safety matters applied on site (inclusive of subcontractors) and well documented Job Requirements: _______________________ • Required language(s): Arabic, English • At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. • Ability to devise concise and effective quality procedures. • Strong business acumen. • Ability to communicate well at all levels.
