Prepare railcars to be moved to unload position by unhooking railcars and releasing hand breaks. Direct transportation to facilitate the movement of railcars.
Provide ground support during the movement of rail cars and/or oversized aircraft components. Ensure that area is clear of obstacles, vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
Drive pilot and/or rear pilot car to escort seavan carrier, as required use radios to communicate.
Switch rail direction by setting rail switch to appropriate position.
Break seals on Railcars using hand tools (e.g., bolt cutters, grinders).
Ensure that receiving inspection has pulled paperwork and given authorization to unload incoming freight, as required.
