Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Facility Manager to join their team on a 3 - 6 Month Contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for Managing all aspects of Technical Facility Management (e.g. Commercial and Technical Support of all owned and leased NC Dialysis Centres, Acquisitions, Expansions, Renovations, Installations of new Building/Medical Equipment ) according to local regulations, NC Architectural requirements standards, NC-FQR (NephroCare Fluid Quality Representative) requirements and business targets.

Manage all Facilities used/operated by Regional Hub SSA from a Structural, Technical and Cost-Efficiency point of view.

Identify New and Improved Solutions to the Facilities in line with the Corporate Policies and Guidelines, Company Quality Requirements and Patient needs.

Ensure that all Technical Building Equipment and Technical Medical equipment (e.g. Water Treatment Facilities, back-up Power Facilities, Air-conditioning units, AED/defibrillators, Vital Signs Monitors, Suction Machine, BP Monitor) are operational and maintained according to legal requirements and company policies.


Duties & Responsibilities:



Management & Steering
  • Provide and Supervise Technical Building Equipment
  • Organize and coordinate the Technical Maintenance Activities necessary to keep the buildings and facilities of the Dialysis Centres in a safe, functional and orderly condition
  • Coordinate all aspects of Technical Maintenance for FME and NON FME Equipment & Facilities
  • Provide Technical Guidelines & Support for Maintenance Disciplines applicable to all owned or leased facilities. Ensure Monitoring Compliance of Legal and Technical Guidelines on Maintenance Services
  • Guidance and Awareness of the Operators Obligations (Scope of Work, Work Method Statements, Permits, Safety Inspections) associated with the Facility, as well as monitoring, inspections and its documentation in line with Legal & Technical Compliance (Service Completion, Work Evaluations, Service Level Agreements/ Maintenance Agreements)
  • Ensure ongoing Improvement by reviewing TFM processes, Identifying Improvement Measures and their Implementation
  • Facilitate the implementation of EMEA standards

    Operations

  • Manage contracts and transactions related to Technical Equipment in accordance with Business Requirements and Company Policies
  • Implementation of the Technical Building Requirements according to the given Building Strategy by the Head of Real Estate & Facility Management
  • Responsible for Scheduling of Planned Preventative, Corrective and Emergency Maintenance
  • Coordinate Extensive Maintenance Projects that require Change of Layout or Design of Building or replacement and Installation of Building equipment with Technical Operations and or External Service Providers
  • Annual Budget Planning of the Building Operation including Scheduled or Planned Maintenance and Repair measures in coordination with the NC Management and the Head of Real Estate & Facility Management
  • Recording, Analysing and Optimization of all Cost-Relevant processes and ensure a balanced cost / quality efficiency of Technical Facility Management (scheduled and unplanned maintenance measures, energy consumption and their costs, construction/expansion/WhiteBox projects)
  • Main user for the CAFM (Computer Aided Facility Management) system (e.g. Wave) as well as a plant and device-based evaluation of energy consumption and optimization
  • Responsible for the definition of Technical Requirements and Measures to increase Building Technologies attractiveness and User Satisfaction.
  • Responsible for Compliance with legal Fire Safety Requirements

  • To comply with all Health & Safety requirements of the job and to consider the Health & Safety of others while carrying out their job
  • Contribution to established Company Quality Management System by complying with the according procedures and instructions in respective area of responsibility
  • To comply with the Company environmental requirements and to dispose of waste according to Company Environmental Policies
  • To comply with Company Rules and Policies in relation to Data Protection and Confidentiality as it applies to their job
  • Optimization of total cost of ownership for the technical facility management
  • Improvement of relevant consumption and cost elements per treatment
  • Audit reports
  • Budget / Cost in the areas of technical facility management
  • Specific key performance indicators e.g. number of maintenance deviations/year or legal & regulatory requirements and FME compliance standards


Requirements

Skills & Experience:

  • At least 4-8 years professional experience in equivalent or similar functions ideally in a healthcare or healthcare- related business environment
  • Knowledge of technical design and refurbishment/construction supervision
  • Deep knowledge of environmental law and technologies for waste water discharge
  • Facility or Technical Management (alternative Architectural and Real Estate) expertise (desirable with strong economic and project management background)
  • Knowledge of law application
  • Strong professional attitude characterized by a result, quality, patient and customer oriented working style
  • Strong structured approach leading to pragmatic and effective solutions
  • Strong ability to set priorities and take decisions even under changing conditions
  • Strong ability to work as a self-starter and self-responsible
  • Strong customer orientation and ability to represent FME towards the customers
