AV Runner Technician

AV Runner Technician • Fetch and carry items, such as equipment, tapes, and cable, and get everything in place for the event • Help set up a location for an event, and make any necessary meeting room setup • Follow up on the daily task list • Set up, operate, maintain, and repair sound and video equipment for use in live events • Transporting, setting up, and installing AV equipment and audiovisual support tools, including speakers, monitors, cameras, and equipment racks • Developing good relationships with clients to keep production moving and to help out production or event coordinators • Running tests on videos, audio, and signals and troubleshooting any problems that arise • Meeting clients' standards by handling equipment malfunctions and executing a flawless event • Disassembling equipment, wiring, and support tools in a safe manner • Performing inventory management on equipment, wiring, and accessories • Carrying out any cleaning, maintenance, or repairs on audio-visual equipment • Follow-up on the equipment used during the event • inventory of equipment in the storage • Safely store and handle audio-visual equipment to prevent damage or accidents. Qualifications • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry (5* Hotel or resort) or in AV Company • Strong working knowledge of audiovisual equipment • Good English and communication skills • Interpersonal skills • Basic computer skills • Friendly and approachable • Ability and willingness to perform under stress
