**About the role**

In this role you will manage the day to day function of the area’s CCTV unit and plan all aspects of staffing, maintenance and CCTV related enquiries. You will also be responsible for the design and delivery of staff training and development in respect of CCTV procedures. You will monitor and control both CCTV cameras Access control system fulfilling an operator role as part of your responsibilities. Additionally, and where applicable, you will be responsible to assist in develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures as needed for Physical Security systems

**Key responsibilities**
- Monitor and evaluate the progress, performance, and productivity of the CCTV operations across all facilities.
- Review, develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures as needed for Physical Security systems
- Prepare integrated logistics plans, policies and procedures for maintenance support to each out station.
- Meet the levels of service, response times and service management procedures required to manage an effective maintenance capability.
- Basic Knowledge of networking and cabling concepts.
- Store data as footage from any given day could be required at any given time. Ensure proper filing of data to facilitate investigation process whenever required.
- Interpret suspicious behavior or policy breach and escalate incidents to management for further action.
- Prepare a daily shift report for all incidents that occurred at the shift and ensure that all occurrences are logged and necessarily follow up has been highlighted to next shift.

**About you**:

- Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 2 years of job-related experience.
- Command of English language, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- CCTV investigation experience
- Networking knowledge.
- Ability to assess and respond to incidents in real time using initiative and independent judgement within established policy guidelines
- Ensure accurate records are taken, maintained and distributed to meet business requirements
- Ability to use initiative and independent judgement to respond to incident within established policy guidelines.

Preferred
- Experience dealing with local authorities
