MAINTENANCE SUP & BUSINESS SERV - MES

**Primary purpose of job**
Coordinates the daily activities of the automobile workshop in Mesaieed Operations, prepares preventative maintenance

schedules for QP owned assets, schedules & manages daily activity of the automobile workshop with a call off contracted

team of multiskilled mechanical and electrical technicians covering OB(M) Owned mobile and fixed assets; preventative,

corrective maintenance and road side or worksite equipment failures, maintenance of ON(M) diesel plant fixed and mobile

assets, OD(M) stations diesel fixed and mobile assets, OT(M) tank farm and export terminal mobile and fixed assets

consisting of diesel generators, diesel fire water pumps, diesel air compressors & de-emulsification units,. Assists

supervisor with the management of call off contracted service providers. In such’ maintenance of roller shutter doors,
access boom barriers, sliding / rotating gates and popup roadblocks located through Mesaieed Operations. (new project

transferred from General Services to OBW/3(M) Provision of industrial cleaners for Mesaieed Operations, 87 + 2

Supervisors, continuously deployed within the operations and based at 14 locations throughout, Allocation thereof,

complete daily head count and review time sheets for attendance and absenteeism.

**Experience & Skills**
Specific capabilities in English, Writing, reading and understanding manufacturer’s workshop manuals, spare parts manuals
and with excellent oral communication skills.

computer based diagnostic systems and software packages on mobile telescopic cranes; TEREX Crane AC Model 40-2,

50-1, 60-02 and 250-01 and GROVE Crane Model RT 540 & GMK4100.

1. Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience in Automobile Workshops, scheduling heavy equipment’s for preventative and
corrective maintenance.

2. Extensive experience in managing people, Maintenance crews consisting of mechanical, electrical, warehousing and

skilled labour as a mínimal.

3. Extensive experience in spare parts controls, reading spare part manuals, placing orders for new spares and managing

parts stocks maintained in Stores.

4. Extensive experience in troubleshooting, general maintenance and corrective maintenance practices on the following

equipment in workshop and outer sites; TEREX Crane, GROVE Crane, Tractor Heads; MAN, Scania, Mercedes & Volvo,

Diesel Generators; Caterpillar, Perkins, Cummins, Atlas Copco & Hatz, Air Compressors; Sullair, Airman, Kaeser, Atlas

Copco & Ingersoll Rand, Forklift Trucks; Caterpillar, TCM, Doosan & Hyster, Transport Trailers; (various)

5. Shall complete Permit to Works Training (Level 1 & 2 )

**Education**
Completed’ Six form of secondary education from a recognized institution.
Three (3) years Automobile Diploma or Certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute.
