**About the role**:
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will help us achieve the following:

- Provides vital support and advice to Project Management team to deliver several projects within the established guidelines of Qatar Airways along with the set budget and time lines. Acts as key leaders of the projects team and participates in all aspects of Project management from Project inception until end of Defect liability period, which includes various stages of Program Planning, Project Development, information collection and dissemination.
- Reviews analyses and outlines project approach based on the magnitude of the project, its complexity, Time lines and Project Costs. Advise management on the deployment of resources for effective completion of project.
- Contributes in the building Technical Tender documentation for the project.
- Part of evaluation team for review of Tender documents and Tender Submissions for various projects along with Senior Project team, Quantity Survey Section and prepare Tender evaluation reports.
- Work in conjunction with project team; assist in implementation of programs and projects successfully.
- Typical duties include planning, developing, implementing and evaluating programs and projects, coordinating project activities, collaborating with Project team members, developing measurable project goals and objectives and monitoring progress toward achievement.
- For projects in inception or concept stage; conducts site visit, meets various stakeholders to assess site conditions and advice management on Project feasibility.
- Collaborates with project team members during the project inception to develop project updates collateral. Reviews and recommends changes to work plans and project documents, including procedures, proposals, progress reports and presentations.
- Review and Survey ongoing projects and recommend Project managers on induction of measures to improve current progress of works.
- Assisting in development of project budgets and assist preparation of contracts. Co-ordinate with Quantity survey section to manage budget for projects, or components of large programs under the general directions of the program manager.
- Prepares high-level project updates for Head of Department.
- Manages and Co-ordinates with various stakeholders and spearhead resolution of contractual or procedural conflicts in a project.
- Maintains status of Projects and update Capital Projects Management regularly.
- Qatar Airways Stakeholders for successful completion of projects. Accountable for communication with Project stakeholders.
- On assignment, shall be responsible to guide the project team at every stage of the project.

- Minimum 6 years relevant experience in Architecture and Engineering
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Liaison with Government Authorities
- Certifications in CAD
- MS Office Suite, AUTO CAD
