EMFI Qatar Group is looking for a Swimming Lifeguard (PWA) with the following qualifications:
Qualification:

- A valid certificate as a swimming lifeguard from a recognized institution
- Certification in First Aid and CPR (BLS) or equivalent required
- Previous experience as a swimming lifeguard in a controlled aquatic environment.
- Knowledge of water safety and first aid procedures and protocols
- Ability to interact effectively with visitors and provide clear instructions and directions.
- Physical fitness and ability to swim skillfully
- Adherence to local laws and legislation related to the safety of swimming pools and water areas
- Paying attention to continuous training and developing the necessary skills in the field of water safety.
- Good command in English language

Certifications:

- Water Rescue and Lifesaving Course
- Advanced First Aid for Water Incidents
- Pool Water Biological Safety Course

**Experience**:

- at least four (4) years of experience in the field of personal training or physical education.
- Excellent communication skills and motivational characteristics
- Preferably, with Arabic language skills

Role/Duties:

- Directing swimmers around unsafe areas in the pool and other water facilities
- Conduct immediate rescue operations for swimmers at risk of drowning and provide the necessary first aid.
- Maintaining order and safety in swimming areas and ensuring compliance with safety rules and preventive measures.
- Check the chlorine content and PH value of the water using a water test kit and ensure the appropriate levels are present.
- Check the water temperature regularly.
- Taking care of the cleanliness of the pool and its surrounding facilities, and ensuring compliance with hygiene, health and public safety standards.
- Keep the edge of the pool clean and ensure there is no debris or hazardous materials in the surrounding area.
- Providing emergency care and treatment for injured swimmers until emergency medical services arrive.
- Review information and details of the facilities and services provided in the water area and guide guests and visitors regarding them.
- Monitor swimmers regularly to ensure they are adhering to safety rules and swimming correctly.
- Providing directions to swimmers on how to act in emergency situations and safety in the water.
- Communicate effectively with the rescue and first aid team to coordinate emergency response.
- Submitting periodic reports on problems, observations, and proposed improvements.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in water safety and preventive measures.
- Periodic inspection of safety and first aid equipment and ensuring their readiness for use in emergency situations.
- Take full and legal precautions to ensure that there is no obstacle to users’ use of the pool.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Pay: Up to QAR6,000.00 per month
