Stretchologist

One of our affiliated companies, Stretch Lab fitness Center Qatar, is seeking personal trainers, massage therapists, physical therapists who are proficient in manual therapy to join our team as Stretchologist. We are looking for professionals who are skilled in PNF stretching, passive assisted stretching and manual therapy techniques. A strong background in functional health consultative skill is also preferred. This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a new modality and to increase your expertise in this field.

The primary goal of Stretch Lab is to help treat the body in order to maximize an individual’s daily productivity and increase their quality of life through assisted stretches.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions (25 or 50 minutes)
- Follow internal work standards including the protocol for all client treatment

documents
- Implement effective stretching techniques to treat and manage body pain.
- Skilled in traction, dynamic mobilization, soft tissue release
- Encourage, motivate and educate clients throughout stretch sessions about

benefits of stretching on the body
- Help to increase memberships and retain customers
- Provide an exceptional customer service experience
- Assist the Manager and Sales/Front Desk staff with studio "tours" for prospective

members, provide trial sessions and promote the various packages to customers

when needed
- Ensure the safety of clients by focusing on effective stretching/manual therapy

techniques and enforce all Stretch Lab policies and safety rules
- Be proactive on All Stretch Labs social media platform to like, comment and

share uploads
- Attend team meetings and required educational training & presentations.
- Clean & maintain all assistive aids for every customer
- Handle member concerns when applicable and direct them to management or

the reception team

Qualifications:

- Passion for boutique fitness/ Wellness environment
- Passion for manual therapy
- stretching, flexibility & mobility.
- Required background/certifications:

- ❖ Licensed Massage Therapist
- ❖ Licensed sport therapist
- ❖ Physiotherapist
- ❖ Sports scientist
- ❖ Certified Athletic Trainer, Personal Trainer or Sports Coach
- ❖ Licensed Physical Therapist (or PT aid)
- ❖ Certified Pilates or Yoga Instructor
- Key requirements

A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provide hands-on manual therapy services for clients. However, individuals who have direct experience and skills with less than 2 years’ experience will be considered based on the interview process.

Ability to create and promote a positive environment that welcomes all people.

Strong interpersonal skills and very sociable; ability to communicate and connect with people easily.

Reliable, punctual, competent, trustworthy and professional.

Must be available to go through our ongoing Flexologist Training Program.

**Salary**: QAR6,000.00 - QAR6,500.00 per month

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Physiotherapy: 1 year (required)
