**About the role**
As the Training Manager - F&B, H&S and Compliance, you are responsible to manage a team to implement the F&B, H&S and compliance training and development plan across QDFC whilst driving employee development, learning engagement and department performance according to agreed goals. You will manage high profile training projects in various areas, including new openings, leadership & management, sales & service, products, systems & processes and soft skills. You will also partner with stakeholders across F&B and QDFC to analyse training opportunities and implement solutions that will support business objectives.
Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and deliver the F&B operational training and development plan in line with Qatar Duty Free F&B and Training and Development objectives.
- Manage and deliver the H&S and compliance training and implementation plan across Qatar Duty Free inline with QR and QDFC objectives.
- Manage the development, design and creation of learning solutions that support in achieving Qatar Duty Free F&B function goals and H&S and compliance objectives.
- Main point of contact for in-scope/defined learning queries that require specialist training & development knowledge and experience.
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, SMEs and cross-functional teams ensuring identification of opportunities for collaboration and innovation.
- Partnership with line management, HRBP’s and support teams in the identification of business-critical learning gaps and addressing with relevant learning solutions.
- Identify and assess the training needs of F&B through job analysis, career paths, talent development with management team.
- Plan and deliver the annual L&D calendar for F&B and back office teams with F&B management and H&S and compliance training with QDFC/QR H&S teams.
- Manage Qatar Duty Free Warehouse MHE and compliance training in line with agreed objectives.
- Evaluate department performance to ensure that training is meeting business needs and improving performance
- Develop relevant, pragmatic and value add learning initiatives, activities and interventions that engage and stretch staff.
- Create tools and strategies that support a best-in-class induction programme and behavior development of staff.
- Drive change, feeding into continuous improvement initiatives to build a learning culture which sets the standard for development in Qatar Duty Free F&B, ensuring staff are proficient in their roles.
- Support the development of QDF internal talent pipelines to ensure that they have the skills they need for the future.
- Proactively lead the developing and coaching of line managers in to achieve business and personal objectives.

**Qualifications**:
**About you**
- High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent with Minimum 7 years of job-related experience or
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 6 years of job-related experience
**Skills**:
- F&B, Hotel or Travel Retail experience
- Learning and Development experience within F&B
- Health and Safety experience
- Managerial skills - ability to manage others
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
- Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to develop methods to track and evaluate training effectiveness
- Ability to keep self-organised and proactive
- Ability to problem solve and make informed decisions
