- Completed and passed HSE/Safety training courses from a recognized third-party HSE training provider.
- Shall have a minimum of total five (5) years of experience related to Safety in the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Good knowledge of principles and practices of industrial and construction safety.
- Good knowledge on methods of assessing safety hazards & controls, hazardous materials storage and handling procedures.
- Good knowledge on preparedness and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure during emergency situation
- Skills on incident accident investigation
- Skills on writing reports, conversant in English (read/write)
- Skills of giving safety induction / toolbox talks
- HLO certificate is an added advantage
