**Job Overview**:
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Review weekly guard schedule and ensure all posts are covered as required
- Liaison between McDermott staff and visitors, contractors, or vendors.
- Document evidence collected through written reports, photos, and statements.
- Review and approve investigative report.
- Draft Security SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) in accordance with regulatory risk levels in ensuring that MDR facility, personnel and assets are protected, and internal loss control measures are enforced.
- Conduct investigations and document in comprehensive reports (Intelex/COMET).
- Submit requests for maintenance, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure security training and documentation is completed.
- Provide activity reporting and follow-up on occurrences and complaints to include investigations of incidents.
- Review risk assessment documentation and approve action plans to mitigate risks.
- Ensure scheduled and random checks of designated areas throughout the facility are conducted and documented.
- Maintain badging and supplies for the access control system
- Manage integration and installation of alarm systems, access control systems, CCTV systems, and related security equipment.
- Liaise with Operational and Project Management Teams to determine operational security needs
- Develops and revises policies related to security department and security access for employees and visitors
- Manage Visitor Management System
- Work within pre-defined budgets to deliver security systems to offices, projects, lay down yards and shops
- Develop, prepare, and issue weekly security activity plans.
- Identifies, recommends, and implements systems to minimize loss of company assets.

- Ensures Security strategies are communicated effectively and understood by the Project Management Team
- Ensure viability of all physical security systems, legacy and new, with the goal of mínimal business disruption as the result of failed or improperly configured systems.
- Produce tailored security solutions for projects and facilities aligned with corporate security guidelines for the protection of personnel and physical assets.
- Liaise with Operational and Project Management Teams to determine operational security needs.

- Establish and maintain professional relationships with law enforcement, host nation government agencies, foreign embassies, and applicable non-government agencies
- Advise management on regional security issues, trends, threat & risks, and protective measures.
- Monitor, evaluate and report the effectiveness of the security management system and lead improvements to integrate security in the business.
- Writes and speaks with clarity and precision, presenting complex information in comprehensible format and always considering the audience.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

**Essential Qualifications and Education**:

- Must have satisfactory job performance evaluations if internal promotion.
- Must possess all state/federal/national security guard license(s) applicable to the area of operation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office platform.
- Effective written and oral communication skills; able to communicate clearly with all levels of management on business matters
- Ability to work extended or extra shifts when required
- Valid driving license
- Must pass Labor Helper 1 Fit for Duty
- Extensive functional, business, industry, and leadership expertise
- For USA based operations, must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
- Extensive knowledge of access control systems, badge administration, and CCTV
- Demonstrates the ability to read and write comprehensive reports for investigation and documentation.
- ASIS International APP (Associate Protection Professional) certification preferred
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of security and safety
- Functional, business, industry, and leadership experience
- Have demonstrated effectiveness in managing complex people, processes, and technical projects.
- Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to drive process improvement.
- Have experience gathering and analyzing data to create useful metrics that support positive change.
- Provide front-line leadership in coordinating responses to a myriad of crises.
- Can lead a cross-functional team.
- Possess general knowledge and understanding of State and Federal Employment laws.

**Preferred Qualifications and Education**:

- 5-10 years of security related experience (Security, Law Enforcement, Military) or 1 year as a Senior Security Specialist.
